FREE HIV TESTING
Our first line HIV test is a rapid finger stick called INSTI. The test is conducted in a confidential setting and takes less than 15 minutes, with results ready in 60 seconds after being tested. You will receive pre and post-test counseling and your results.
Persons who test negative for HIV will receive information on how to better protect themselves from HIV infection with techniques such as using condoms or PrEP. Persons who test positive will be linked to care services and receive information on how to live a long and healthy life with HIV. Our staff will also share information on how to prevent transmitting HIV to others.

CONDOMS AND PrEP
When used correctly, condoms are one of the best ways to prevent HIV and Sexually Transmitted Infections (STIs). Our district provides FREE condoms to the community in two ways:
· At county health departments
· By mail—click here to request condoms mailed to you!
PrEP (Pre-Exposure Prophylaxis) is the use of a once-daily pill that is highly effective in reducing your chance of getting HIV when taken as prescribed.
Click here if you would like to be connected to PrEP services, or call or text 706.510.8342 or 706-340-0291 for more information.
